The Trawick Prize Awards & Exhibition
September 3-27
15 Finalists have been selected for the 6th annual Trawick Prize: Bethesda Contemporary Art Awards. The work of the finalists will be on display September 3-27 at Heineman Myers Contemporary Art in downtown Bethesda. A public reception will be held on September 12 from 6-9pm in conjunction with the Bethesda Art Walk. More Info.
Bethesda Art Walk & Guided Tours
Sept. 12, 6-9pm
Visit downtown Bethesda galleries from 6-9pm on the second Friday of every month. Guided tours resume in September. More Info.
Bethesda Artist Market
September 13 & October 11, 10am-5pm
The Bethesda Artist Market will feature fine art and craft for sale by 25 local artists including painting, photography, jewelry, wood, glass and mixed media. Live entertainment will be featured throughout the day. More Info.
Bethesda Farmers Market
Tuesdays & Saturdays, May - October
The Bethesda Farmers Market, featuring fresh fruits, veggies, and baked goods, will return in May. The Markets runs from 10am-2:30pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays in Veterans Park, located at the corner of Woodmont and Norfolk Avenues.

Dance Bethesda Application

The application for the 2009 Dance Bethesda Dance Concert, scheduled for March 7, 2009, is now availble. Eligible dance companies and choreographers from Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia are eligible to apply.

The application for the 2009 Bethesda Fine Arts Festival, scheduled for May 9 & 10, 2009, is now available. Artists from all over the country are eligible to apply with their original fine art and fine craft.
